Choose How to Handle Mappings

In Data Mapping → Data Source Configuration, click Switch Data Source, select the target source, and decide how to handle existing mappings.

Keep Existing Data Mappings suits migrations where the target database has the same table structure. Still check that tables, fields, and access permissions are available. Clear Existing Data Mappings lets you rebuild associations; complete the mappings again after switching.

Review the Impact

Switching affects data mappings for objects and relationships in the current ontology. Keep the original definitions before switching. Check mapping status afterward, and verify queries and business operations that depend on the data before publishing.
