Use Voice Input

When typing is inconvenient, click the microphone in the input area to convert speech to text. The recognized text is added to the input area without being sent immediately, so you can review and supplement it.

Record a Voice Message

1. Click the microphone. The first time you use it, allow microphone access when prompted by the browser.
2. Start speaking. A single recording can last up to 60 seconds.
3. During recording, you can delete it and record again, or press Enter to stop and begin transcription. Review and edit the recognized text as needed before sending the message.

Voice input is available for chats, Automated Tasks, and Skill debugging in the Admin Console. If the page has no microphone entry, an administrator may not have configured a speech model; use text input or contact an administrator.
