Delete a Data Connector
Delete a Data Connector
This is a destructive action. Deleting a Data Connector:
- Immediately invalidates credentials and stops future synchronization.
- Clears synchronized group chat and member data.
- Removes the data source for chat context attached to customer objects, while retaining generated Outputs and reports.
A confirmation dialog says: "Delete Data Connector '{name}'? Synchronized group chat and member data will also be cleared."
Differences from data sources
Data Connectors and Data Sources appear in the same navigation grouping but serve different purposes:
| Dimension | Data Source | Data Connector |
|---|---|---|
| Connects to | Databases or storage (MySQL, Oracle, OSS, PostgreSQL) | IM platforms (WeCom conversation archives) |
| Data characteristics | Structured, tabular, relatively static | Semistructured, streaming, continuously updated |
| Used by | Semantic Center modeling, then position data queries | Position message context, then automatic archiving to customer objects |
| Operation | SQL queries | Background incremental retrieval |
| Typical use | Customer, order, and product tables | Customer group messages and member lists |
See Data Source Management for configuration, versions, and supported database objects.
