Set Direct-Message Reply Preferences

Channel Conversations (Direct Messages) in Personal Settings > Preferences controls how bots reply in all your direct-message channels:

Setting	Default	Description
Show Thinking Process	On	Show the thinking process in IM replies. WeCom can display it only while a response is being generated, not in the final result.
Show Suggested Questions	Off	Send suggested questions after a response, each as a separate message that can be copied for a quick follow-up.
Clear Context Periodically	On	Prevent inactive historical context from affecting new conversations and reduce some Credit usage.

When Clear Context Periodically is enabled, set the inactivity threshold in hours. The default is 12 hours; valid values are 2–72 hours.
