Create the Ontology

In Ontology → Create Ontology, select Manual Construction. Enter the ontology name, display name, description, and an optional data source binding. The ontology name is its unique identifier and cannot be changed after creation. The display name can be updated later.

Multiple ontologies can share the same data source. Different ontologies can define the same data differently for business domains such as sales, operations, or finance.

Continue Maintaining the Model

After creation, use Ontology Model to maintain objects and relationships and add business processes, logic, rules, metrics, or Analysis Views. Use Data Mapping to adjust data associations. After saving a draft, review and publish it in Validate and Publish.
