Distribute Automated Tasks
Distribute automated tasks to coordinate recurring work such as store weekly reports or customer follow-up. Recipients run tasks with their own Data Permissions, and Credit consumption is charged to each recipient.
Distribution Permissions and Scope
An administrator must add distributors through "Distribution Authorization" under "Role Feature Permissions → Feature Authorization Configuration". Each distributor can send tasks only to authorized users or user groups. Super administrators can select all users in the tenant.
When you select a user group, the recipient scope updates dynamically based on its membership.
Configure and Publish
In "Distributed by Me", click "Create Distributed Task" and select Digital Workers and recipients. Each distributor can retain up to 100 active distributed tasks.
Enter task details and set a scheduled execution plan. Distributed tasks support only one scheduled execution plan.
Use dynamic conditions such as "customers I manage" so each recipient works with their own business objects.
Skills and app connections are limited to position-specific or public enterprise resources. Knowledge is limited to enterprise knowledge; personal resources and local attachments cannot be selected.
Click "Save and Publish" when configuration is complete. Recipients can view their tasks under "Distributed to Me". If the task uses app connections, each recipient must enable and authorize them before the task can run normally. Recipients can manually disable tasks they do not want to run.
View Distribution Records
Distributors can check recipient statuses in "Distribution Records":
| Status | Meaning and action |
|---|---|
| Authorization Required | Required connections or delivery dependencies are not ready. Follow the reason in the record. Recipients must enable and authorize app connections themselves. |
| Disabled | Dependencies are ready, but the recipient has not enabled the task or has disabled it. After authorization, the recipient still needs to enable it. |
| Enabled | Dependencies are ready and the recipient has enabled the task. |
Update Configuration and Recipients
Distributors can centrally update task details, Digital Workers, models, and execution schedules. Recipients' tasks synchronize the changes and use the new configuration on their next run. Recipients cannot edit these settings. An update does not automatically enable tasks that recipients have disabled.
After user group membership changes, synchronization updates the recipient scope: new eligible members receive the task, and tasks are removed for members who leave the scope.
Remove Recipients or Delete Tasks
Removing a recipient deletes that person's task, execution records, and Outputs. Deleting a distributed task deletes all recipients' corresponding tasks and this data. Save any results you need before proceeding.
