Use Resources in Chats
Use resources in a Chat
Resources become useful when they are brought into a Chat:
- Reference manually with
@—Use@to open the selection panel → select the Personal Knowledge tab → select the files to reference. - Reference linked resources automatically—When a Chat involves a linked object, AI automatically adds the associated resources to the context, without
@. - Mention a folder with
@—Bring the entire folder's contents into the Chat as reference material at once.

In a Chat, you can search the contents of collected files from AliDing and DingTalk group chats and ask a Digital Worker to answer questions, summarize key points, or extract information from them. Search results are limited by your access permissions.
For example, ask: “What delivery timeline requirements did the customer specify in the proposals uploaded to the project group last week?”
Scope of enterprise knowledge
Enterprise knowledge is available in a Chat only when both you and the current Digital Worker have access to it. Knowledge Base management permissions in the Admin Console do not automatically expand the knowledge available in Chats.
If you cannot find an enterprise resource, check its visibility settings and confirm that the current Digital Worker has Knowledge Base capabilities enabled and can access the relevant Knowledge Base.
Relationship to Output files
Output files generated by Digital Workers, such as presentations, documents, and emails, can also be added to My Resources for reuse. There are two ways to add them:
| Method | Meaning | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Copy | A snapshot; subsequent Output updates are not synchronized | Keeping a specific version, such as a final quarterly review presentation |
| Add Link | The same file continues to update | Regularly refreshed Outputs, such as weekly or daily reports |
