Positions
Position management creates enterprise work partners and configures the objects, knowledge, Business Logic, Analysis Views, and IM Channels they can use. After creation, authorize resources so each position can work within the intended scope.
Recommended workflow
- Create a Position
Set position information, the primary object, and available business capabilities.
- Connect IM Channels
Configure DingTalk, Feishu, or WeCom bots for a position.
- Delete a Position
Check references and impact before removing an unused position.
Understand this capability
The Positions page in the Admin Console manages all positions across the organization.
A position consists of five configuration areas:
| Area | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Basic information | Entered during creation | Name, display name, avatar, and description |
| Semantic information | Linked Semantic Center graph | Primary and related objects, Business Logic, and Analysis Views determine which data the position can see |
| Enterprise knowledge | Associated Knowledge Base directories | Determines which resources the position can retrieve |
| Available Skills | Selected from the Skill Center | Determines which processes the position can run |
| Available app connections | Selected from app connections | Determines which services the position can connect to |
A separate Position Description defines behavior in natural language: which questions to answer or reject, which Knowledge Base to check first in specific situations, and what tone to use. It is included as a system prompt in every conversation and sets the position's behavioral boundaries.
