Collaboration Spaces
A collaboration space gives a group shared goals, work items, resources, memory, and capabilities. Use it for projects, customers, or ongoing business topics. Context within the space respects member permissions; personal private content is not automatically shared with everyone.
Recommended workflow
- Create and Organize Spaces
Create spaces, set goals, and organize the spaces you join or manage.
- Use Work Items
Separate work streams into work items, each with its own context.
- Manage Members and Capabilities
Configure space members, Digital Workers, and available capabilities.
- Manage Space Memory and Resources
Maintain shared memory and resources, and understand member visibility.
- Connect IM Groups
Link a WinNexo space to IM groups and supplement group chat context.
Understand this capability
Use the switch in the upper left to move between "Personal" and "Collaboration". Personal mode is your own workspace; collaboration mode shows the spaces you participate in.
Spaces operate alongside personal accounts. Knowledge added to a space belongs to that space, its business scope determines which data it can query, and its Digital Workers determine who can perform work there.
| Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Business scope | Determines available business data by selecting core object types and specific objects, subject to row-level permissions |
| Members | Determines who can work in the space; all members share the same Data Permissions |
| Digital Workers | Determines who can perform work in the space; a minimum of one and a maximum of three |
| Capabilities | Available Skills from referenced personal Skills, Digital Worker position Skills, and public enterprise Skills |
| Space resources | The space's own Knowledge Base, supporting local files, online documents, chat records, online notes, public web pages, and content from personal or enterprise Knowledge Bases |
| Memory | Shared knowledge maintained manually or extracted automatically from space conversations |
